You bring the questions. Coach Jason reads them cold and works through them in real time — wrong turns, backtracking, and all. No prepared slides. No perfect answers. Just honest mathematical thinking, live.
Most Math lessons show you the answer. Think Out Loud shows you the thinking — including the parts teachers usually hide.
Students submit problems they're stuck on. Coach Jason picks one, reads it cold, and works through it in front of everyone — with no preparation.
Wrong turns happen. Backtracking happens. Sometimes Coach Jason pauses and says "give me a moment." That's not a flaw — that's the lesson.
Students can interrupt, redirect, and suggest directions. Every session is different because every room is different. No two are alike.
Due to time, Coach Jason works through as many problems as he can — but every student in the room sees real mathematical thinking happen live.
"Most students don't struggle with Math because they're bad at it. They struggle because they've never seen someone think through a hard problem in front of them."
— Coach Jason Lee
18 years. 3,000+ students. And a way of teaching that's fundamentally different from anything your teen has experienced in school.
Coach Jason asks questions, not gives answers. Teens learn to articulate their own reasoning — which is exactly what examiners reward.
Teaching online since 2017 — before it was common. Lessons built for screens, not transplanted from a classroom.
A structured thinking system developed over 15 years: Logic → Examples → Analysis → Practice. Every session uses it, naturally.
Three Math books at Popular. Lecturing at Republic Poly and James Cook University. The depth goes far beyond the syllabus.
Teens consistently say Coach Jason is calm and non-threatening. That calm is deliberate — a relaxed teen thinks clearly, and a thinking teen solves problems.
Regular students get a shared WhatsApp group with their parent — everyone stays in the loop, every step of the way.
Not every story ends in an A1. But every story here ends with a teen who found their footing.
A Sec 2 teen who wasn't connecting with how Math was taught in school. In five months, the logic clicked. The grade followed.
⏱ 5 months
Never passed Math from Sec 1 to Sec 4. Finally cleared O Levels. Some breakthroughs take time — this one was worth every session.
⏱ 4 years
Consistently failing throughout secondary school. Her O Level A2 was the end of a story she'd told herself about not being a "Math person."
⏱ Multiple terms
Came in unwilling to speak up. Left able to walk through his reasoning out loud, confidently. Scored A2. The voice he found in Math carried into everything.
⏱ O Level cohort
Used to cry during Math lessons. Now studying Math as her tertiary major. That's not a tuition result. That's a life direction — changed.
⏱ Secondary years
I've been teaching Math for 18 years — not because it was a safe career, but because I genuinely believe every teen can make sense of it. Not in some abstract, motivational-poster way. I mean it literally: the logic is learnable, the confusion is fixable, and the confidence that follows is real.
My teens often tell me I'm the "chill" one. I take that as a compliment. When a teen isn't anxious, they can actually think. And when they can think, they can solve.
I lecture at Republic Polytechnic and James Cook University, I've been featured on CNA and Channel 8, and I've authored three Math books at Popular. But the thing I'm most proud of is the teen who went from crying in Math class to choosing it as her major.
From failing grades to chosen majors — these are the voices of teens and parents who've been through it.

For Indonesian and Chinese students aiming to enter Singapore secondary schools through AEIS — Coach Jason offers diagnostic assessments, strategic consultations, and targeted 1-to-1 coaching designed around Singapore's Math expectations.
Strong in calculations, but Singapore Math requires multi-step problem solving and structured written reasoning. Coach Jason builds that problem-solving ability systematically — using the LEAP framework to develop thinking, not just drilling answers.
Foundation + Problem SolvingTechnically strong, but Singapore Math problems are language-heavy. Coach Jason teaches bilingually — mapping English Math vocabulary directly to Chinese equivalents, so students can apply what they already know without the language barrier slowing them down.
